As a result of the successful growth of our organization we are now searching for a:

COMMUNITY MANAGER AFRICA

You will provide membership services to African Foundation Member (FM) companies and continuously upgrade the Forum’s attractiveness as a platform for these companies to grow and internationalize. You will identify the relevant trends, policy changes, business issues and developments, and deliver the appropriate programmes and activities, including the content and design of the annual World Economic Forum on Africa. You will be the interface between African FM companies, governments and other non-business stakeholders. You will seek to integrate these companies into all aspects of the Forum’s key communities, projects and activities, events and substantive interactions, as well as promote engagement in task forces and initiatives. You will ensure African FM companies’ participation in the Annual Meeting in Davos, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, regional meetings and other Forum-led initiatives.

You will join the Forum as part of our Global Leadership Fellows Programme (www.weforum.org/glf). As such, you will be fully integrated in the World Economic Forum and benefit from an intensive work and learning experience intended to develop and train future leaders of global enterprises and international organizations. The Global Leadership Programme is designed by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with its worldwide network of distinguished experts and leaders.

We expect you to exhibit demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellence in the fields of business and geopolitics, and have a proven interest in global affairs. You possess a broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international relations/geopolitical studies or business administration, as well as very strong writing skills. You have five to seven years’ relevant professional experience with a well-established network in West Africa. You speak fluent French and at least one other language, preferably English.
