Reach is the skilled volunteering charity with a vision of a society where every voluntary organisation can access the skills and support that they need to be successful.
With a history stretching back over 30 years, today Reach works with over 10,000 organisations across the UK providing over 6,000 skilled volunteers, in addition to working in partnership with commercial organisations and charitable foundations to deliver on a wide range of funded projects.
Reach is now embarking on an exciting stage of growth and development- with a focus on improved operational effectiveness, financial sustainability and a more focussed customer approach to business.
To help with this challenge, Reach is seeking to recruit a Director to a new post which will have overall responsibility for developing and growing new business and services in line with Reach's strategy and for growing the organisation's income through the effective management of the marketing, fundraising and service delivery operations.
The Director of Services & Business Development will actively participate, collaborate and contribute to the strategic direction and operation of Reach; have overall responsibility for the Marketing, Fundraising and Service Operations and target and grow new services in line with the business plan and, in particular, manage new business development for clients with a turnover in excess of £2m.
An entrepreneurial and ambitious leader with experience of having worked at a senior level within both a profit making organization and within the voluntary sector; with extensive experience of developing income generation strategies and converting strategy into delivery and a proven track record of delivering results, you will possess exceptionally strong communication and networking skills and an ability to drive change in challenging conditions.
